Get High in Central Park
For 25 bucks, the city will get you high in Central Park.
A helium balloon ride will carry a pilot and four passengers at a time in a wicker basket 300 feet up.
The 10-minute ride will offer majestic views of the city's crown jewel in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the park's original design.
The 45-foot-wide balloons are filled with 47,500 cubic feet of helium. At night, the balloon is illuminated.
Tethered to the ground just west of Bethesda Fountain - near the West 72nd Street entrance - the balloon is raised and lowered by an electrical winch.
EVELYN just took off into the air herself ... to go learn the secrets of kimchee and then not tell me. You better hope I wait for you to do this when you get back.
