Sewing with mom

Conversation as it happened:

we were watching Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel and the episode was about turning cow poop into flower pots

mom: do we really have to watch poop while we're sewing?
E: yeah.. isn't it cool they can make poop into different things?
mom: he's touching the poop with his hands that is gross
E: I want to keep watching it
mom: no, I want to listen to music

she turns off the TV and then puts in a cd .. and moments later

"DONTCHA WISH YOUR GIRLFRIEND WAS HOT LIKE ME"

E: ......why are you listening to pussy cat dolls
Mom: how do YOU know about pussycat dolls
E: they're famous sluts in america. how do YOU know about pussycat dolls
mom: oh. I bought the cd so I can practice for my jazz dancing class with my friends at the Plaza
E: ....
mom: let me show you


..

and dude..
she did ...
she showed me.. I begged her to stop

but she didnt..

she is learning the dance for "buttons" and "sway"
she kind of looks like she's drowning in the ocean drunk
but that was probably the funniest thing I've seen this week.




i'm making a bag. maybe a clutch ish thing
i also bought a pattern for one big bag and one shoulder bag.. i think i'll make the big bag tonight

and my new blanket



u know..... making inappropriate racist jokes is probably one of my top ten favorite things to do
but since i've been in korea I've only seen .. friggin koreans..... everyone seems so homogenous i don't even have room to be a hater. ... no wonder i have all this extra energy..
